Is it necessary to learn English in elementary grades?

Learning English in elementary school is extremely important. At this age, children’s brains are more flexible and capable of absorbing new languages. Starting early helps them develop strong language skills, which will benefit them in the future, both academically and professionally. English is the most widely spoken language in the world, and knowing it opens up access to a wealth of knowledge, culture, and global opportunities. Moreover, learning English improves cognitive abilities, such as problem-solving and critical thinking. Early exposure also boosts confidence and prepares students for a more interconnected world. The sooner children begin, the easier it will be for them to become fluent and comfortable with the language.
